Care Team volunteers are the backbone of The Care Communities. Without
volunteer Care Teams, we would not have the ability to care for those
who are facing serious illness, such as cancer and AIDS. Volunteering
your time to care for one of our care partners is one of the most precious
gifts that you could ever give The Care Communities and those we serve.

HOW CAN I
PROVIDE ASSISTANCE AT THE CARE COMMUNITIES OFFICE?
As a small but growing non-profit organization with three full-time staff,
we are constantly in need of special projects assistance such as:
- Typing
- Copying
- Data entry
- Folding and stuffing for our mailings throughout the
year
- Other duties as needed at your time of inquiry

HOW CAN I
HELP WITH YOUR FUNDRAISING EVENTS?
The Care Communities has several fundraising events
throughout the year and needs specific assistance with the following:
- i Care Gala
- Running errands
- Picking up silent auction items
- Delivering silent auction items to the Care Communities
office
- On site logistics the day of the event as assigned
- Silent auction set up on the day of the event
- Traffic flow management once the event begins
- Ask a friend or a place of business you frequent
to donate a silent auction item
- Hill Country Ride For AIDS
- Running errands
- Copying
- Folding and Stuffing for mailings
- On site event coordination
- Help put a ride team together
- Texas Mamma Jamma Ride Against Breast Cancer
- Running errands
- Copying
- Folding and Stuffing for mailings
- On site event coordination
- Help put a ride team together
- AIDS Walk Austin
- Volunteer your time to help grow The Care Communities
